Embracing Failure, Exciting Announcement!

So I really haven’t talked about it till now, but I submitted to be a speaker at the 2025 Founded in FoCo convention. The theme this time will be Be Future Ready: The Power of Connection & Innovation. With my background in innovation and the design thinking process I felt like I should step up and contribute. It is after all a volunteer run event to help entrepreneurs of our community.

So, my speech is called, Failure as Fuel: How to Purposefully Fail to Success with Design Thinking. I hope to teach everyone that comes, how to systematically innovate their business using the design thinking process. And of course an important part of that process is guessing, testing and revising. In other words, failing on purpose to learn.

Now if you live in the norther Colorado area along I25, come on by and hear all about the design thinking process. It’ll be a great speech and a great convention, for a low ticket price. While they haven’t given me a time and room yet, I will be speaking on Monday, March 10th. The convention goes through that following Friday. I went last year and loved it.
